The Northern Ireland Tourism Awards 2010, in association with Diageo Northern Ireland, were launched in January 2010 and the gala presentation ceremony,was held in the City Hall, Belfast, onThursday 3 June.
The event is one of the most exciting and prestigious events within the annual tourism and hospitality calendar. A capacity audience of 400 hundred leaders and influencers within the industry attended the event and table sales were closed several days before the event.
Awards were presented in 9 categories and there were 2 additional awards: one to recognise a "Northern Ireland Hero" who has inspired an organisation and another to recognise an "Outstanding Contribution to Tourism".
